Most people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are unemployed
We're here to help change that
For too long, people with disabilities have been kept in the shadows. From 2020 to 2024, we employed 35 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and provided on-the-job training for another 350 at Rise Up Cafe in the heart of downtown Sarasota. It's all about inclusion, acceptance and opportunity for all.
And now . . .
With the support of our nonprofit, Inclusion Revolution, we work to source job opportunities and prepare people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to confidently fill those positions.
Inclusion Revolution partners with The Haven and Easterseals, two other non-profits dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with IDD by encouraging independence, championing inclusion and advocating for individual rights.
